I love that Kellsey and Will have a unique story on how they met. They met in college when they shared a cab ride home on a night out. Will attended Notre Dame while Kellsey was at Saint Mary’s. Shortly after, they had their first date in the dining hall and they’ve been together ever since. And they are just about some the nicest people I’ve ever met! I was so happy to be able to film their wedding in upstate NY.

Before I get to their wedding, let’s talk about when I first met them. I was able to do a story session with Kellsey and Will about 2 months before their wedding day. We met up at Taughannock Falls in Ithaca to capture some footage of them that you’ll see sprinkled throughout their wedding film. I’ve loved doing these story sessions because it was a great way to be able to meet up ahead of time and everyone could get a little more comfortable working with each other before the big day!

Kellsey and Will now live in Michigan together but they ventured to Binghamton, where Kellsey grew up to get married. Kellsey got ready at her parent’s house, the house that she grew up in. Will got ready at the Double Tree Inn in Binghamton. They had their ceremony at St. Patrick’s church in Binghamton and their reception was in the gym at the same church! All day I really enjoyed working with both Kellsey and Will. They were so kind and so, so easy to work with. They made the day so fun! A highlight for the day was riding the carousel at Rec Park in Binghamton. It’s always fun to add something a little different in a wedding film and it’s not every day we get to ride a carousel!

After some fantastic speeches and delicious dinner, Kellsey and Will enjoyed dancing the night away with their friends and family. It was so fun to see how much support they have from their community and know that these two will have a wonderful, admirable marriage!
