Stephanie + Vince | Binghamton, NY Wedding Video
This wedding was all about rolling with the punches. I met with Stephanie and Vince a few weeks before their wedding when at that point they were planning on having a 150 guest wedding with all the partying and dancing. Just a couple days after our meeting, they had to change everything. 150 guests down to 50 and instead of a gorgeous venue, they opted for the groom’s godmother’s BEAUTIFUL backyard.
I said to Stephanie at the wedding and I still believe it – THIS WAS PLAN B?! It was amazing!! The backyard was so beautiful and their decorator did an AMAZING job with it. But I’m getting ahead of myself.
Stephanie and her girls got ready at Traditions at the Glen, near Binghamton, and I kid you not, this is some of my favorite getting ready shots I’ve ever done. Ever. The lighting was beautiful. Riley, the hair dresser, brought a bunch of mirrors so between the window light and the reflections and the most GORGEOUS bride, I was having a field day. I love Stephanie’s choices she made for her wedding day style. Her wedding dress was gray, which I LOVED. She also had this beautiful head piece that fit her style so well. Everything came together so well and I loved that it was just a little bit different than the traditional style that you so often see. My favorite thing about weddings is when people make it THEM. Steph’s style wasn’t like everyone else’s, she made it her own.
Mark helped out with this wedding as well so he was with Vince and the guys as they got ready. When we met back up for the first look, he told me about all the food the guys had. HA! Later as I went through the footage, I saw the very first clip Mark got was of the food. Classic for an Italian family.
Steph and Vince had their first look right in front of the building at Traditions. You can see it here in the video, but I love Vince’s huge smile as they turn back around right after seeing each other for the first time. That’s a look of true joy!
We took some photos and videos (with Sam Rigo Photography!) around Traditions before heading over to Vince’s godmother’s house where they were holding the ceremony. That’s when I was in complete awe. You would have never known that this was someone’s plan B for their wedding day. They pulled it off beautifully – which is amazing because they only had a few weeks to come up with that plan!
After the ceremony, they cut the cake and we were on our way. They’ll get to have the big party next year. But even without the big reception and dancing, I thought their video was still stunning and we still got to see the start of an awesome marriage for Stephanie and Vince!
